16-13 To paint the pen
(the complete Optimus Prime pen)

This part is the final part of Optimus Prime pen. Previously, we've done with weathering on chromium parts, but I didn't satisfy it that yet. So now it's time to rework on it. After, coat it with lacquer and get ready to assemble them up. Let's see.

For any color is painted onto chromium surface will not be attached tighty. To solve this problem, we can use primer steel type before weathering paint.

buttons are not paints due to the paint may not stay for long time because of the touch.

The pen requires solid type of lacquer in order to hold it for long time of the touch, but this type is too gloss for the realistic appearance. So I mixed it with the matt type to the right bottle.

For realiability, it needs about 10 rounds of coating, and always heat it up before & after for the best quality of the coat.

Now parepare all parts to assemble together.

OK, now we're finished the Optimus Prime pen.
