6-2 Make plastic resin of the moon base (continue)

This was after leaving in sodium hydroxide (before clean up)

After cleaning up all contamination are gone. Then check out all defects, you can fill resin in for little sink mark. If big and many areas, consider to remake this part.

refill all sinks, holes. Once it is set, put it in sodium hydroxide again. and clean again.

fill in small sinks mark first.

If the material is much shortage like this one, consider fixing first. By this photo is easy. just to fill resin in to next side of mold. (but need to mix resin is just like a jelly)

then wait until it's set around 80%

press the bottom mold part up to upper part (ensure that it's right position)

Finished. looks ok. Now we will see the another side.

This is was clean up well. There is no contamination, fix some sink marks

(white color at letters)

Check all appearance. This piece was passed for me.

Back side, also no problem.

Close up to see texture that we've made by sand & carbon.

Texture at letter, not bad for me.

To check bottom side. it's no problem. Ok now see the whole piece with pen.

All right, now we're finished the main model.

By the way, this space man & flag are master piece.

I will make new flag for him.^^
